A lot of guitar greats pay tribute to Santo and Johnny. It is a fantastic song.

Talk about while my guitar gently weeps. Possibly the cleanest electric guitar playing skills I've ever heard. Every note was perfect! Wow this dude can play! Amazing job Hank!

I was in the front row very nearly at Hank's Feet at the concert. I can see myself in the audience more than once on the DVD. A really superb concert with My guitar hero David Gilmour there too!

Perhaps his best performance of this song I have heard. Slightly different in places than his performances with the Shadows.

As always, utterly immaculate playing. And that custom made tremolo arm is interesting.
@michguzman4 жыл бұрын
Yes, David Gilmour has a similar custom made tremolo arm. After all Hank was his biggest influence.
@czgibson30863 жыл бұрын
@@michguzman Gilmour is definitely a big fan of Hank but their trems are completely different. Gilmour prefers a shorter bar so he cuts them down. Hank's is called an Easy-Mute and it's larger than a regular tremolo bar to make palm muting easier.

🙏🔥🎸🙏🔥🎸🙏🔥🎸🙏🔥🎸🙏🔥🎸

Heard the Larry Carlton version ?
@rhodsullivan77732 жыл бұрын
@@TheBeebs999 I have now, and it is extremely well played but for me it is about the technique and tone which in my opinion and it is only an opinion Hank's use of the vibrato is better and string bending too. However if you disagree I respect that. Music is after all subjective and in the ear of the listener. I will listen to some more Larry Carlton because he is undoubtedly a superb player. Thanks for flagging him up.

I like the Tremlo effect he has. How great is this Music Especially when you Consider when it was made 60s. We listened to Frampton, Satranini, Marvin, play this song. Try it and tell me what you think. Cheers
