Dear Jin, words can not express how much you have made my life easier Thank you. Will you please consider making a video for exaggerated drop shoulder bodice and sleeve? like doubling the shoulder length. Thank you.

Hi Jin, can you please explain what you meant at 4:26 when you said to divide the ease by 2 to make it the same for the front and back of the cap?
@PatternStudio101 Жыл бұрын
From the shoulder point, you want to have the same amount of the ease on the front and back. Got it?
@Shornski Жыл бұрын
@@PatternStudio101 great thanks. The pattern worked great. Now I just have to get better at getting the size right. The shirt I made was too large. Must have had too much ease.
@PatternStudio101 Жыл бұрын
@@Shornski Great! You got it. Then you can make the same pattern with less amount of ease. Practice makes progress 😀

Hi lovely, The armhole divided by 4, is that the from and back included the bit that was removed from the front?
@PatternStudio1017 ай бұрын
Doesn’t matter. Total armhole length is not changed.

@babzyno58649 ай бұрын
She gave the formula. Pay attention at 1:53 very well. She said it was total armhole divided by 4, then you add 1/4 inch. Hope it helps

Although I am a 78 year old man and have had clothing college education 60 years ago which never turned into any thing, I may just have a few God given days to measure draft and completely sew a few shifts together myself, and try put the information in some kind of book to leave behind for others to learn, I would also like to have the book endorsed with your name, the sad thing is, it seems like I am lying to you and trying to take advantage of you, which I am not.
