Done this trick for like 15 years I reckon. Phenomenal effect, gets a great double reaction.

That's such a fantastic routine. I like the Jokers vs Blank cards reveal. Matt's reaction says it all. So strong.

Just out of curiosity, David, why do you prefer the jokers to the blank cards reveal?

One of the first effects I bought when I got into magic. I remember seeing the trailer and just being blown away by it.

I had this trick like 25 years ago and it’s still golden!

That is my favorite packet trick of all time! As you said, there are so many great things about it! Love it!!

I've only been into this amazing journey for 7 yrs so far, and I only learned of this, after getting "comfy" with Max Maven's, bwave, and he actually credited John Bannon, in his intro, explained the correlation to " twisted sisters" and their agreement on it being "all good", and I love this as well, it does take a fair amount of confidence, to pull off, but it's killer, -note if you get from Penguin, it's very cheap, but it says it comes with a DVD, it does not, but has great links to online tutor, and the package has a super killer graphic of these 2 chicks with machine guns, which I actually put in a micro acrylic frame, and is now "wall art" worth learning for sure

Such an awesome trick! Love doing it all the time when 2 spectators available. Otherwise Maven's variation if only 1 spectator. GREAT effect with dbl possibilities. And I love the jokers reveal as a different twist.

Love Twisted Sisters

I still prefer B'Wave for the simple reason that is simpler. Craig and Matt were talking about the strongest stricks are often the simplest. I never thought it was necessary to make the cards switch places.

I think the non-gimmicked version is called Duplicity, not Duality.

A classic for sure, but I wouldn’t call it a hidden gem. Literally everyone who performs card magic surely knows of this effect.

Seeing that I know of it and what the gimmick is just not the effect. Privy to it after talking about SUMMIT with some magican friends, I’d say you’re not far off. Smilesotheylikeyou

I have this sitting in front of me right now, but I have the Transpo Kings version. It’s so strong, it’s the only packet trick I do.

Amazing trick 👌

As far as "hidden gems" please consider Predixion by Max Maven, it's simply amazing , but fairly easy to "get hold of" and also consider "jeopardy" by "Paul green" on "into the trenches" DVD (worth getting for sure, he is an amazing seasoned pro) this not super easy.. per SE, but absolutely approachable , and stunning)

Although I used to perform TS B'wave is much better gets far better reactions
@dowaliby1 Жыл бұрын
That's surprising to hear. It seems that TS would come across as more impossible. I think how it's presented can make the difference, though. Rather than starting by asking a spectator to choose a packet, I have the first spectator think of ANY ONE of the four queens and then ask them whether it's red or black. Then you can say to the other spectator, "Since he picked a red queen, you think of one of the black queens, either clubs or spades." In any event, I would use B'Wave if there was only one spectator, because it could become confusing if one person tries to remember everything, but I would use TS, if there were two or more spectators, because then you can you get two people involved, and also, there is twice as much magic.
