Right? The PG experiment was low-key the best thing for his career and he's gonna be an All Star. Wemby has been given the green light to shoot everything which is why he's shooting 10 3s a game.

100%. Sochan started this year at a higher level than last year, especially on the offensive end. Consistent! I think the Olympics was a great Summer training ground for him. He’s smart too. The point I’m making is that Wemby is a Euro player with naturally good footwork and fundamentals. He’s also not going to shrink in height anytime soon. It makes more sense to work on his shooting efficiency now and THEN patch up the holes in his post scoring as he increases in strength, than it does to have him put all his chips into being an elite post-scorer, only to ask him to miraculously also improve floor spacing in 2-3 seasons.
@cheap272Күн бұрын
he literally has one of the craziest layup and dunk packages of all time because of his length and skill but people want him to keep scoring in the post more until he is rudy gobert

Chet Holmgren is unfortunately severely injured for the season.

I agree with you but Chet just doesn't get this much freedom. He's the third option. Wemby can literally pull up from the logo multiple times a game with 18 on the shot clock and no-one blinks an eye. When he gets hot though, good lord watch out.
@deadlylightningspirit4295Күн бұрын
@@TheGorillaGuerrillahe has more freedom sure but he also doesn’t have the focus of the defense and he’s been the 2nd option this year. Chet has been phenomenal this year and it sucks he’s out for so long

To be fair. Wemby gets waaaay more touches. Chet isn’t the primary offensive weapon on that squad. When there’s more weapons on the spurs; expect his touches to come down. Two different teams in two different places right now.

@@TrevX2001 Yeah, but he also gets way more open looks due to the fact that he isn't the primary offensive threat on his team. Whereas Wemby is getting double-teamed every time. I mean yeah, having CP3 on the team makes it easier to get better passes, but it doesn't take the bodies off of you.
