They have to get a licence from the local council and they tell the buskers where and when, the big push were drawing such huge crowds that the council had to have a bit more control than usual, I've told my story before but since you mentioned it ...I was out shopping for a particular pair of shoes and stumbled upon the big push busking. I've seen Zappa,Marley,the stones but I've never felt the vibe like I did on that day and I never got the fkn shoes

Just some background: these videos were part of a huge concert that they held live in 2019 on the streets of Brighton. They broadcast this concert on their social media and their friends put up posters and physical media all over Brighton. Almost all of the businesses around where they play knew them from the years of busking on the streets and even promoted the concert with promotions for their products/services. It was an incredible event that really cemented the Big Push into the local lexicon of Brighton's street art history. There are many songs from this concert recorded plus dozens of videos of their songs throughout the years in Brighton. I HIGHLY recommend you check them all out, especially the ones with Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins, and other artists. They are just all so amazingly talented. Busking, otherwise known as live street performances, is a very common occurrence in the UK, compared to the US, and so most UK citizens are used to seeing it quite frequently, especially in the larger urban areas like Brighton, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford, London, etc... the UK Busking scene is almost an industry unto itself. You'll also notice why it seems that people often just walk by these amazing performances lol. Another piece of background: The one who constantly slays on the rhythm guitar is Romain Axisa (pronounced Romaine, as in the lettuce), he is a Frenchman who has an awesome solo career with tons of examples of his incredible guitar talents and gorgeous singing in both English and French. The other guy singing is Goran Kendall, an incredible multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a unique flavor and tone quality to his voice. He is usually singing alongside Ren. The drummer is Glenn Chambers. He left the Big Push and now works in advanced technology industries. They had their final concert in December 2022. The Big Push decided, for various reasons and mutual agreement, to end the band in 2022. They have several covers with official music videos like Bongo Bong and Englishman in New York. You ladies are going to have SOOOO much fun. EDIT: Just so you are aware: Ren's biggest influences are reggae, ska, punk, and blues. You'll find that in a LOT of his music indicates that influence. The girl running around is a part of the Big Push's operations team at the time. She's a close friend of the guys and helped out a lot with the logistics of their performances. Also, in case it hasn't been stated: they only use a looper, pedals, speakers, mics designed for each member's specific vocal tone, and everything is produced live with no filters or enhancements. Ren goes through each official video and only edits to increase clarity and EQ the production. That's it. Otherwise, everything else is entirely as recorded during the time.

That's why you get Ren's comments at the beginning of War Pigs, about giving someone a massage and then kicking them in the face. It's because they'd just finished the I Shot the Sheriff mashup and were about to do some Black Sabbath! :)

I have to be one of the most committed Ren fans on all the levels. Yeah, that lady is part of the crew. She's delivering CDs, etc, and return behind the band with the money she took for the merch. Other donations go straight into the open guitar case. The Big Push is probably the most underrated band in the UK, and yet they were right up their with some big bands. Great reaction, ladies, once again. she is indeed with the band. the girl she's hanging with (in the orange top), and the girl out of frame that she's walking to, are both in TBP's Sweet Little Lady (official) video. The girl you can't see is hanging next to another guy that can be seen in in a lot of their busking videos, often in an opened black vest, with no shirt. And the girl on the other side of him might be familiar to those who have seen the "[travel log]" video, as she's the girl in the grey and black who brought her dancing shoes. Actually, all of them can be seen in the "[Travel log]" video. bonus tidbit, the girl in white and kaki pining over Ren, next to Glenn (the drummer) can be seen in TBP's Dignity video. for those wondering, there are at least two other vids of this performance on KZbin, neither are worth looking for. One is filmed by the guy you can see next to orange top girl, the other is by a girl about 3 deep, centered between pining girl and the girl in the black and yellow shirt bonus bonus tidbit, Ren did a solo encore performance of this set, while the boys were packing up. I think the song was dominoes, but im not certain on that. I cant seem to find it anymore though, it might be one of the videos i cant access by the channel Brighton Beach Busking, or it could maybe be that im just not looking hard enough.

Are you guys aware that the playback video (the one you are reacting to) is suffering from low frame rate, freezing, and stuttering? You don't mention it in the video, so I assume the playback is fine for you while you are watching. The audio plays fine.
