A nice looking and very serviceable knife, good review George. My maternal grandfather, from Bovee, Mn a trapper and woodsman, always said the smaller the knife the better the outdoorsman. He has cleaned deer with a stockman pocketknife. Be well my friend.

Love your knife reviews, especially your BPS knife reviews. Perfect mixture of "to the point" and showing the important details. I like how you show off the blade close up and from many different angles...and the BPS Savage is in my top 3 blades. Anyways, great review, sir.

Watching this vid right now . I’ve been looking for a knife just like this . When I started my woods loafing many many years ago, I had 3 knives an Ulster scout knife , a hardware store stockman and an old paring knife with a sheath made out of a cereal box, electrical tape and water proofed with varathane . My son has the Ulster the other two lost to time . I’m definitely going to pick one of these up . Thank you for the video !

Nice small all around knife!!!
@2ndchancegeorgeАй бұрын
Yep. Very nice
@stephengaren221929 күн бұрын
I made a dangler using the upper grommet on the sheath. Others are criticizing the sheath for being soft leather, leaving out the fact that there is a welt in the sheath that makes it fairly rigid. Unless sitting on the sheath when inserting the knife, the chances of the knife cutting through are not that high. When the knife is fully in the sheath, the chances get even smaller. The sheath is pretty tight around the scales of the knife for that reason. Same as their BS1 sheath design. It's up to the owner to use the sheaths as intended. If you are sitting on the sheath while putting the blade in, then you probably are doing it wrong. Lol
