Let's dig into the whole up-and-down rollercoaster of economic recessions in human history. It's like each downturn is trying to outdo the previous one... and surprise, another crisis pops up, no matter how much we try to brace ourselves against economic chaos.
So, what's the deal with this never-ending cycle, and what lessons can we really take away from these recurring economic challenges? 🎢💸

This is very well done content. Great job. If you want to dive down the rabbit hole with interest rates. Check out real estate leverage in commercial offices. The debt specifically. Also, this might be right up your ally. Regional banks, they do not mark their loses ‘mark to market’. Because interest rates went up so much the underlying investments are down, but they don’t necessarily ‘realize’ the loss until. You know, SVB bank. Your content is so well done. Would love to see what that could look like from your perspective.

I'm 69 years old, and I first encountered what was espoused in this clip in, YIKES, my God, way back in 1975, at a seminar being addressed by the long departed Charlie King. I've been rehashing all of Charlie's perspectives (and, also, what has been spruiked in the clip, too) for nearly 5 decades. Sadly, the criminals, whether they're business smarties, or their lackeys in governments who facilitate their agendas keep resurfacing to perpetuate the Ponzi schemes.

@ejefepinnock945 The advice I'll give you about bitcoin, and all its derivates, is to steer as far away from this as you possibly can. It's a conjob of extraordinary proportions and is buttressed in nothing more than a total confidence trick. Bitcoin, as is indupitably is with MMT, is a Ponzi scheme. The enormous different between the two is that, every single one of the world's top 50 economies are in the rort of printing money, and they ain't gunna let any upstart muscel in on their operations. A suggestion to you on how to make good money for an enduring period is to invest in any foods that can be grown in controlled environmental conditions in green-houses. I had an opportunity to invest $750k in these ventures in 2010, but didn't. My pal who "seized the opportunity" has made a net-after-tax income of $175k since 2013.

I think there are a few reasons why these recessions keep on happening : 1.Most people have very little knowledge on financial or history. 2. No one questions good times, no one questions a good deal if it pays...until it doesn't 3. People who are financial or history savvy will always ride the tide and cash out while the fools are deep in it

Stunmbled across this channel at 5:45 am this morning (I'm in Sydney) when the sun shining through the window woke me up. Well, I have to say what a tragedy it is that I didn't encounter it way earlier than that. Every single thing that was espoused by the host are, in TOTAL SYNC, with EVERYTHING that I've been a spruiking since attending a seminar here in Sydney in 1975 and heard two speakers expose what the host did spake. I just clicked on to the subscribe button to make sure I don't miss other broadcasts that expose the crap they feed us mugs in the mire.

one thing that massively impacted the 1929 recession that you forgot to mention was that the federal reserve reduced the amount of currency in circulation by 1/3rd. the federal reserve has a much bigger role in many/most recessions after its creation, you should keep that in mind.
@KevinSmith-qi5yn
@KevinSmith-qi5yn 5 ай бұрын
It's not that the amount of currency was reduced. Roughly 7% of currency was taken out of circulation from 1926 to 1930. It's that the roaring 20s happened without an increase in currency to match the increase in productivity. Given the structure of the federal reserve before it was taken off the gold standard, it was not capable of supplying that currency without the US government or a federal reserve member bank taking on debt. This is the inherent weakness of using an entity meant as a source of liquidity as the central currency. Given what we knew about economics during the time it makes sense that the federal reserve bank was setup like banks from the 19th century. If the US Reserve Note did not become the world currency, then it would have probably been replaced in the 1950s.

3:08. Napoleon was not even a famous general by 1796. The europeans were not busy fighting him at that time. It was maybe more the mess of the French revolution. Otherwise very instructive video. Good, you didn't advise us to buy gold at the end of your video. That's the generic advice most crisis predictors give when concluding their videos to the point that you feel them either sponsored by a gold selling company or they are just short sellers. These 2 types of people never stop predicting economic crisis all year round to the point that you feel that fear mongering is just part of their marketing strategies to keep their business running.

This was the first video I ever fast forward on this channel. I love your channel, but I would stay away from these dry subjects in the future. Only if the economy is tanking I would watch it here after watching the news news. I think it was the history lesson that did it for me and the fact the economy hasn’t tanked yet.

There's no rule that cycles happen and that they happen at certain intervals. Growth simply means more economic activity; a recession negative growth, i.e. less activity, in a given time period. Most of human history was defined by almost zero growth. It's only in the past few centuries that we've experienced sustained and substantial growth. Recessions are more representative of statistics than a hard and fast rule. As a 'boom' period gets longer the odds that an unforseen 'shock' occurs increases. The shock dampens activity for a short while before economic activity resumes. Whether or not an unforeseeable shock is genuinely unforseable or really because of willful blindness from major actors in an economy is a separate debate.
