Glad to hear your Mom is improving. Wishing for full recovery. My parents tried that going South for the winter right after my Father retired. Too much rain and 40 degree F temps. My Mom got pneumonia. That was the last time they did that. Good health to all and take care.

I went from a army six by six to a pete as my first trucks but the really nicest one for my first was a W900 and so you know how much influence it has on your heart. Then you look at this and want to have a rich uncle step up and say you can live out your final days in this rig... "If your going to dream" then go all the way. Yes I could live out my final days in a rig like this.... I would want the Desert Grey exterior and a Blackish Red interior and just because of health and age, yeah..... I think the automatic might just be the ticket but sure leaning hard on a eighteen speed. I imagine that installing a standard transmission on a all electric operation engine truck now days might take some really hard work to make it work.

Mike, i think i see the answer to all your prayers, you need a roll-over 589 like that one, and just swap a new cab on it. a certified clean idle cabover. Maybe the interior of the sleeper could be adapted? looks nice, and i do like the light up pete badges. legendary black and legendary red look great... hint hint

Are the exterior accent lights a factory option? I been wondering if the 589 if it has the same engine as the 579 and also in automatic would the 589 eat much more fuel than the 579? I love the older body style trucks but I been in a Cascadia and fuel has been 9mg . I’m new to trucking so I don’t know all the uses for each truck. Would this truck be overkill for flat bed and I’m also buying a reefer. I run from California to Florida every week

Mike, I've got to tell you I don't like the 589 at all why screw up the looks of a truck buy widening the cab like that .... That's what they got different models for they need to produce the 389 still that way the drivers can have what they want!!!
