I think blocking in this game is something people need to focus on more. I can understand in 3-4 frames delay it can be hard but on a good connection if you're really aware of what's going on, blocking can be extremely rewarding. I think I feel much more satisfied coming out of a string and getting in on the opponent than mixing them up, and that's what I've learned to do at a higher level. I also personally think if you have the patience to block in this game, you just automatically become a better player. On a side note, absolutely great video! Been watching all your guides and I think you're doing a great job.

I felt like such a god and got a dopamine rush when I managed to finally block Piccolo Hellzone snap mix for the first time back when people were playing Piccolo cuz GO1 was. Then I got frame trapped and immediately hated life and myself.

Blocking is so much fun, when I play with by brother and he pushes me in the corner I like to just sit there and block everything until he dragon rushes

I do the same thing, and i love teching drs, is not that hard if you are not nervious or scared of any attack of your opponent, just see the green circle and press 5L thats all. p.s hi gd player, i am like you :) (sorry for my bad english btw)

You can up-tech by holding up on your controller while holding a button.

What confuses me is delayed up techs. Didnt mention that. Are you able to do this on sliding knockdowns? Some say you can some say you can't. This messe me up everytime on sliding knockdowns I swear people delay up tech and I cant seem to cover it or even do it myself properly lmao

It can only be done after soft knockdowns, not proper sliding knockdowns. That said, I can't figure out how to pull it off, so to me it's a myth.
