Final stage from Mega Man 8 for the Playstation PSX. Features the boss rush, Dr. Wily, ending, and staff credits. No damage taken and buster only. The final stage of Dr. Wily's fortress is nothing more than the boss rush and Dr. Wily himself. This time Dr. Wily is rocking just two forms. But, the second one can be frustrating. It definitely echos MM7's final ufo form in terms of attacks. The only aspect of his first form worth noting is the laser cannon inside the skull's jaw: Focus your attacks on this when it appears rather than Wily. If it doesn't receive enough damage, it will fire and it's difficult to avoid. During his second form, Wily randomly reappears throughout the room, then employs one of several attacks utilizing small balls of electricity. There is one attack in particular that is rather tricky to outmaneuver: Four balls will appear and act as a homing weapon of sorts. They will lock on twice...once immediately, then pause and lock a second time. If you can time it just right...jump then slide so that they lock onto your location in mid-air, therefore sending them over you as you slide...a bit tricky, but you'll see what I mean. His other attacks here are self-explanatory. For weaknesses: Use Water Balloons or Flash Bombs against Wily's first form. And the Flame Sword does the most damage to his second form, though it can be difficult to land a hit.
About the Credits-
Capcom held a Robot Master Contest requesting designs for the bosses of Megaman 8. Capcom said three of the six chosen robots (not including Tenguman and Astroman) had to have a specific appearance or element: One with a sword and separable body, one with two heads, and one with long extendable arms. There were a total of 110,000 robot master submissions. Anyways, the staff credits feature the winning designs, as well as several other entries.

After comparing with the Japanese voices, most of the English ones actually fit very well. It's mainly the acting that didn't go so well.

I just realize the 8th wily capsule uses all of the attacks from previous wily capsules. Edit: 11:13 Megaman 5 and 6 Wily capsule use this attack. 11:18 Megaman 5 and 7 Wily capsule uses something similar to this attack. 11:23 Megaman 7's Wily capsule's main attack. I know. I'm missing Megaman 4, but that one was pretty much the start of Wily's teleporting capsule.

It's a shame doesn't appear in any other games besides spinoffs. You'd think considering Mega Man 10's japanese subtitle (Threat from Outer Space) Duo would be involved somehow, but that wasn't the case. At least he's in Battle Network 4, though he's the final boss there.

thanks! his first form gave me a bit more trouble than i thought it would...those projectiles that come five at a time were tricky. until i realized jumping over two at a time worked well. yeah, dodging his second form was no fun either. well to be honest, i got lucky i wasn't standing in the wrong spot a few times lol.

On the credits scene at the end of the, game there is a(n) art piece that, some kid had made for this, here game looks kind of like a, wannabe robotic version of Knuckles from the, Sega sonic team oh boy it certainly is a, good thing that Capcom didn't use that, idea form that person who had made that drawing to, begin with or Capcom would've been in, a lot of trouble from being sued by, Capcom for copyright infringement right at, the exact time of 20:43 to be exact actually, even though Aqua Man does come from D.C though, as that does make you wonder why they, haven't already been sued to begin with, for copyright infringement by D.C comic's after all.

And I think, maybe many years had passed, old robots became too rusty, so they were not used anymore.
