i just received the carbon fiber m390 version of intrigue in mini, feels very high quality and fit finish is great. had to loosen the pivot and apply some oil to smooth out cus deployment was very stiff but now its nice.

One of my favourite knife manufacturers.I have The Steel Will Apostate-Just a beast!!I wish these new knives were 14C28N though-for me I reckon its better than D2 as more rust resistant.

I'll second that in case anyone from Steel Will checks in here. I would love to see them look into releasing the budget options in 14C28N as well. The Real Steel and Ruike knives that use 14C28N are really rocking the budget knife world right now.

Steel will is "rocking" the budget world with D2....want 14c28n go buy a RS or Ruike. I have nothing against those two as I have over a dozen of each brand. In my use SW d2 holds a longer edge then RS and Ruike 14c28n, so it is a wash for me. I like them all. Isn't it great we have all the choices.

I hear you. I've order the Steel Will Mini Intrigue with a gray handle. I'm hoping I don't experience a rusting/tarnishing issue with the D2 steel. I can always keep a thin oil coating on the blade. I tend to baby my user knives and have had no problems with 8Cr13MoV or AUS8.

I noticed on the cutjack that you can actually push the liner lock Into the middle of the lock up I do wish it was a bit thicker.

Great idea comparing it to the 940. It is difficult to justify one at their price point. I just placed my order for an Intrigue for all the points you covered.

Does anyone know if Steel Will is doing an upgraded version of this at any point? I know they have the upgrades for the Modus and I love my G10/M390 Cutjack. I really like my mini intrigue and would definitely look into an upgraded version if they had it. #steelwill #gideonstactical

Love the vid! Just ordered the full size in gray. Best line in the video at 7:30 “out to dinner date knives.” Lol, in my best Bill Murray voice, “I wanna party with you, Cowboy.” I know what you meant but maybe we shouldn’t be describing any knife as “a date knife.”

I'd be interested in your comparison opinion of the Kershaw Atmos. If the Atmos had better steel I think it would be a hard choice to decide between it and the Intrigue.

I'd like to pick up the mini. Only two thing's I would say is Steel Will should've made the mini a 3" blade. Would've made the total weight under 2 oz.! And the pocket clip isn't deep carry. Anyone know if there are deep carry pocket clips out there that would fit these?

the intrigue looks good! im likely to buy the fullsize. how would you stack them up against the ontario rat and rat 2? im also waiting for people to review the esee expat medellin. also how would you stack the bigger intrigue against the ruike 801 and 108? oh and the dividend? SHOOTOUT COMPARISON VID! and thats the 940 i was planning on buying this year HAHA. i may just have to buy 1 a month until i have them all...dammit

Kershaw leek in carbon fiber with cpm 154 steel American made $55 at the moment on amazon.probably be $70-$80 at normal price either way better deal American made better steel better handle material just a little smaller 😁

until you break the tip of the blade on the leek. i have one and theres some pretty bad pics of broken ones. mine is slightly broken so it wont engage the safety anymore...i didnt like the safety anyways. id go with the dividend over the leek

jacob manalang u should probably use a knife like a knife especially folders plus this leek has much tougher steel also but people like what they like I do agree that safety is real annoying.

i dont pry with my knives and i thought i was pretty careful with my leek but im not sure how it lost just enough to not engage the safety... i was about to remove the safety anyways. visually i cant even tell the tip had broken off as the blade still looks normal. i wonder if the cpm 154 blade replacement is only 10 dollars or 30 dollars like a zt? mine is ineligible since its the xxxx blem but it was a gift

jacob manalang the regular leek comes with a much weaker steel then his one at least 2/3 times the tougher and 3/5 times better blade retention a little harder to sharpen but with such a thin blade it shouldn’t be a problem.There are more Kershaw Knives made with s35vn for around $80 if u can carry an automatic knife I’d definitely get a Kershaw launch I think there’s 7 now but for $100 u get American made auto with great cpm154 not to be confused with 154 cm which is not as good as cpm154 steel and have been designed very well I happen to like the launch 1 but I’ll probably I’ll end up getting the 6 long sweeping blade great point and sharp as hell with great action at least for $100 American made auto.
