Im not unconvinced that slime mild isnt slowly spreading around the planet to get into position for a hostile takeover. Its a cery unconventional life form haha

Love your videos, finally decided to subscribe 😅 I don't got any slime mold, but I've got a white film of something growing on my top layer of soil. I've managed to grow four little babies from their seeds. I guess the question is: should I be concerned? Perlite and Peat Moss in 1:1 ratio Growing indoors, but underneath a light I'm thinking I'm over-watering since I've never let the tray actually dry out. It is distilled water but it says "ozonated" as well Anyways. Sorry about the lengthy comment. Looking forward to more knowledge about these wonderful plants

I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos! Thank you for subscribing. We often see a build up of mineralization on the soil surface and it’s rarely a problem for the plants. It can also be mold if they are not getting enough light or airflow.

When do you guys normally divide your plants, im asking because i have some that need to be repotted. And Many off the sarracenias have divisions. So is it okay to divide this time off the year? Or not!

Theres Also a drosera binata with divitions?

We divide all of our temperate plants, like Sarracenia, in the winter when they are dormant. This is the best time because they won’t shock up and if you do it now, they’ll lose some of their growing season.

Wow. Just in time. My nepenthis has roots popping out the bottom holes in their factory pots and the root string is slimy. Is that bad? If it is should I skip it or transplant it to a bigger pot or snip it then transplant? Please help! Thank you!

They can get a little slimy and that’s not always bad but you don’t want the roots to rot so it’s probably time to transplant to a bigger pot!

Nothing against carnivorous plants, but if you gonna play gangsta, then you better represent.

Try a Zero water pitcher! It’s an easy way to make distilled water at home and you can order it on Amazon.
