Not the cheapest but always excellent quality from Gtechniq products. I haven't gone down the ceramics route, preferring the easier to apply sealants, QDs and waxes. One product that I would recommend without hesitation from Gtechniq is their I1 Interior Fabric protector. I have applied that to the seats of my Golf Mk 7 every year, absolutely superb stuff. Any liquid spilled simply beads off. It also reconditions the seats in general.

Can you apply exov4 upwards of 48 hours after csl curing?

Just bought both of these, video is extremely useful! How long would you wait in between the 1st and 2nd coat of Exo, is it the same 1.5 hours or sooner?

Just checked the short YT video on EXO4 on Slim's website. It suggests that once you have finished the entire car with the first coat of Exo, then apply the second coat. Basically, applying these is going to be a full day's job. First the CSL, then the first coat of Exo, then the second coat of Exo. Best of luck.

@@The128enlasangre According to their recommendations that's right. However, I reckon a single layer of any decent coating applied on paintwork that is properly prepared, decontaminated and maintained is all you need. I applied KKD Si-STAL a few months ago and it still looks great - very easy too apply and not too expensive. As long as you prepare the paint properly prior to coating (including clay bar and polish), that is the most important thing, IMO.

So nobody asked the big question….If CSL is bonded to the paint for life and EXO is a 2 year product, what happens in 2 years? Just reapply EXO OR??? Just did a base of CSL and 1 coat of EXO V5 as recommended. Do we need to do CSL ever again? V5 again? The Tesla is brand new and garage kept. Looks unbelievable! Don’t even want to remove it from the garage now! 😂

Thanks for your questions! You can reapply EXO after 2 years if needed. It depends on what marks the vehicle picks up along the way and whether it will undergo machine polishing to remove any marring marks. If it does, CSL will need to be reapplied.
