Here for secret show’ Thursday (tomorrow) Drove down from SF at 2am Monday/Tuesday morning- got here about 11am. Got the tickets and merch by 1:30. Stoked for tomorrow! Saw them in 99, tattoo the earth, and pledge of allegiance tour back in the day. This will be a cool nostalgia thing for me to see it again at small venue like first time 25 years later! As much as no one can touch the OG lineup, I think this may be Slipknot’s most talented lineup so far, and I’m hoping the new music that will follow will live up to it. What bothered me about Jay being fired was that it was hard to accept the Jay replaced joey. But with time we all finally learned to love him and consider him as a real member of slipknot. And just as we're all accustomed to Jay they fire him. That really threw me off and now I just pretend like it's the early 2000s when I think of slipknot

I have wanted Eloy to become the drummer the moment I heard they fired Jay. I loved Jay & Joey, but Eloy is the next level of intensity, precision, and consistent tempo. He is beyond all of the other possible drummers. Eloy is the only answer for me to feel like Slipknot is going a better direction. I hope Corey is able to stay in it longer than he's projecting, but only if it's good for him long term. I've been to at least a half dozen slipknot concerts and regret that i'll probably never get to see this line up live. Long live the knot!

Patty + Harriet's is sold out. It was a charity show so I guess that's why prices were low. The only upcoming shows I could find ticket prices for are at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, lowest price ones being $392. It's not just their show though. "Each General Admission ticket includes admittance to Las Vegas Festival Grounds for Sick New World on April 27, 2024 plus the following: Performances all day on multiple stages at Las Vegas Festival Grounds, food choices from regional and local vendors, bars, concessions, official band merch, festival merch, free water stations, and more" I guess a rainout is unlikely in Vegas.
