@@wilson9d71 different doesn’t mean bad either. If Slipknot recreated Iowa over and over again, not only would it eventually become boring but Slipknot also wouldn’t be where they are today. A lot of Slipknots biggest hits are “The Devil In I”, “Before I Forget”, “Psychosocial”, “Duality” and so on. They’re gonna keep trying new things with every song and I applaud them for it. Also why are you here if you don’t like the song???

Slipknot has evolved so much over the years and has become a genre in itself. The band is bigger than its members. It's sad that deaths, members leaving, being replaced has happened. But the real tragedy will be when the knot ceases to exist. Long live the knot. ❤

I love when you can hear a band explore all their interests. When you're the kind of professional musicians these guys are, they will take you on a journey if you allow them to. Feeling and critical thought are always going to be apart of it. Whether individual members have personal issues ongoing can obviously play a major role. Drastic turn on this song. Love the elements. I don't care how metal you are, melodies and harmonizing are always a safe zone in my opinion.

This sounds like something David Bowie would've written and I rate it so highly because it takes a lot of balls for a band who's already known for doing stuff like this along with their usual heaviness to throw another major curveball this late in their career. Certainly one of the more unique tracks they've ever created and a perfect opener for the album to set the tone for the rest of the experimentation they've pulled off in addition to the songs on here that most represent their classic style.

I bought my first Slipknot CD a couple months after Self Titled came out in 1999. I saw them live at Ozzfest 2001 in Somerset, WI. As their albums came out I found that I like them more the more I listen to them. I was pleasantly surprised that I was really into The End, So Far during my first go around. I'd rank this album a top 3 for me. I love how you can hear everybody in these songs (especially Sid and Craig). I'm proud to say that I got to take my son and wife to Knotfest Roadshow 2022. I've literally grown up with Slipknot's music and will continue to support them throughout all future albums. Long live the Knot!

It is 70s prog rock to the fullest and on top of that it's relaxing, it's chill, and it takes you to a different dimension. Adderall captivates with its immersive melancholy and musical versatility, resembling works such as My Pain, Circle, XIX, Danger - Keep Away, and Snuff, emblematic tracks by Slipknot that display a fascinating duality between vocals and a striking symphonic immersion. This ability to traverse different atmospheres and styles is truly remarkable, evidencing artistic depth and the capacity to forge a genuine emotional connection. Both in visceral compositions and more contemplative pieces, an authentic and impactful expression emerges, highlighting the mastery in evoking diverse sensations and delineating a highly relevant Alternative Metal.
