Slipknot | Jerry Garcia Guitar Solo | Blues For Allah

My transcription of Jerry Garcia's guitar solo on "Slipknot!" from the album "Blues for Allah."
"Slipknot!" is an instrumental piece that was developed from jams in the middle of 1974 versions of "Eyes of the World." It was nearly always played as a transition piece between "Help On The Way" and "Franklin's Tower," a sequence that was first performed in June 1975. It was performed during 1976-1977 and 1983-85. It returned to the repertoire again in 1989 and was then performed every year through to 1995. It total it was played just over 100 times.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you do some of these from the album Without a Net but if there’s any holes in that set of songs, maybe you could do a series where you cover all at least the lead guitar work on those songs. That would be great because I think I’ve listened to that album more than any other Grateful Dead album I’m sure a lot of people have pretty much all on there are great versions obviously. I remember you always walking around with your acoustic guitar I think or was that someone else?)
