Fun fact: Spit It Out Hyper Version And Stamp You Out Mix are actually mastered versions of two takes of the songs that were meant to be on the album but they could not get the aggression of the demo version so they used the demo version on the album than put Sid’s turntables on it Hyper mix is take 1 Stamp you out is take 2

The most limited edition is this one. It has alternative cover as a form of slipcase so that's why it's better than the rest. I wasn't downing him, he said he could find only this version of vol 3 so I told him there's even better one. That's it haha.

I'm sorry to tell you this but your Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat album isn't the real one. The real version is greener but also to tell you if you didn't know this on the album after the final song the industrial noises from the beginning come in and after 5 minutes and 10 seconds a hidden track comes on called dogfish rising. It basically them just toying around with Clown on the main drums, Paul on vocals, Josh brainard (their first guitarist 1995-1999) on bass and Joey on the guitar. The Producer I forgot his name but i think his last name is mcmartin I could be wrong was Also vocals on dogfish rising and there was someone else that was't credited. You also gained a new sub.

I didn't claim it to be an original copy, but even decent copies of the bootlegs aren't cheap to come across anymore so I'd prefer to keep mine in good condition. Interesting info about the bonus track though, thanks for that!

I actually love All Hope Is Gone, snuff is one of their best songs. .5 The Grey Chapter is one of their worst. It's not a terrible album by any means, it has some great songs. It's just not their best in my opinion. In my opinion their best album is Iowa.

It's funny you should mention this as it's obviously not what Craig or any of the other members of the band refer to him as, but when I was younger my friends and I came up with nicknames for some of the members based on their masks, from what I can remember Craig being Pinhead, Chris being Dicknose and Mick being Cageface - I managed to stop referring to them as this (despite doing so for years) but Pinhead for Craig always stuck for me. As for complaining about All Hope is Gone, I don't get your point - I'm clearly a fan of Slipknot so I feel I'm at least entitled to my own opinion on that specific album.

Opium Pulses I'm guessing you said it as a joke, but about Craig "no one knows what he looks like, no one cares", I think it's one of the most frequently asked questions about Slipknot members haha, "What does Craig look like?", or at least was before the press conference about Paul's death. I think Craig's mysterious persona makes people fascinated by him, myself included. I just love his work on sampling and keyboards.

Good question, I don't think my opinion will be a popular one, but at least it'll be an honest one. Each album suits a different mood for me so I love them all for different reasons, but if I had to choose which I thought was most impressive, in order it'd go... (updated to now include WANYK) 1. Gray Chapter (Just a decent album start to finish, impeccable song writing) 2. Self-titled (Nostalgia drenched and intensely aggressive) 3. Subliminal Verses (A metal album that survived the saturated nu-metal era) 4. Iowa (Sheer dark, atmospheric brutality) 5. We Are Not Your Kind (Most experimental since MFKR, notable heavy moments) 6. All Hope Is Gone (The most easy-listening) 7. Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat (Most experimental with funk and jazz influences)

I understand Corey was having issues with his vocals at the time and had to approach his screaming differently, but just because you understand WHY something is the way it is, doesn't mean you need to enjoy it anymore more or less. I appreciate the album, I appreciate the circumstances of why it is what it is, I don't even particularly dislike it, it's just probably my least favourite record of theirs. I think KZbin could do with a lot less of those who assume they know the knowledge held by people they've never met, however.

I have heard about this, excited as I am (especially for the potential for more grass!), I can't help but feel disappointed that Subliminal Verses didn't get the same treatment a couple years ago, maybe there wasn't enough content from that period to justify it, but as a completionist and with that album being easily in my top 3, I just wished they'd done something for it as the special edition that currently exists is a little lame.

I guess everyone has different tastes, even maggots. I still have a lot of love for self-titled myself too :) Only Slipknot album I've ever somewhat disliked is AHIG. Grey Chapter had a lot of emotion - enough angst, grief and anger to make you feel their pain, something I hadn't heard in Slipknot since Iowa.

I remember Clown saying that too, and I think when they said that they most likely meant it, but Paul was the reason that band existed, to just call it a day after he died wouldn't feel right to any of them. I think it was a perfect tribute myself, but it's not comparable to the debut - they're a different band now. I just happen to really like both versions.

All Hope is Gone really does divide Slipknot fans, I totally respect those who enjoy the album for what it is and the truth is I don't dislike it either, I just think its their weakest by quite a decent margin. Overall I'm glad that all their records get some love cause that's not always the case for other bands.

Then I'm afraid to say you must not have mingled with all that many English folk, Karl Pilkington (although a complete legend), is from Manchester and has a very distinct northern accent. I however, am from Oxford and we're known to have a very bland, flat accent. Although I will admit, comedically I sometimes infuse the way other British comedians talk for fun, those including Ray Peacock, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan and even Karl Pilkington. Most people from the UK would argue though, that I sound nothing like Karl Pilkington - the only connection we have is that we're both English.
