That's what I'd tell the (non drumming, I assume) folks who said I played "Great!". Had a big apartment above a club that turned into a Metal club, right after we moved in. Almost everyone in the house could play some guitar, and did. We had room to rent space to a college band to practice, and they always left the drum kit set up, said we could use it. No one would, but one night I gave it a try. As a trio, We instantly started playing with, and off each other..?! We were communicating, very simply, and I'll never forget that first time "connecting", and how we sounded so much better together. I never would have just started practicing, but did it out of fun. We ended up opening for many our favorite bands we listened to, and grew up listening to! The most fun I've ever had! Punk/Metal Improv, real fast to real slow. Faking it, the whole time (real drummers knew, but they still seemed to like the aggression and energy). And all that came from listening to (and following) the bass and guitar. Drummers lead the band, but I had to follow to learn to lead. Without some friends to play with, I never would have gotten behind the kit. Forgive my rambling, please. Just saying to have fun. Try playing with a few people who just want to have a good time, and not criticize each other. You may become addicted to it though..?! I hope so! Rock on!👍💯🔥🔥🔥🤘🥁🎶

What makes this more impressive is that if you listen with headphones, the RIMSHOT has a a lot of reverb and its much loud BUT the head of the snare doesnt have the reverb, so for fills it doesnt clog the mix.. AND the reverb actually works WITH the song... This is IMPRESSIVE in all the words, from playing to the soundscape to his joy to everything... JUST HATS OFF... Caleb will take over the world and I am so ready for it...

His control is stellar all the way around! He's a super fluid drummer, the way he moves around his kit! One sure sign of a competent and relaxed drummer is how relaxed their jawline is while playing! If it's in a normal looking (relaxed) position, they're generally extremely comfortable with whatever they're playing. But yeah, his footwork is AMAZING.... for any level/age of drumming! 💙👊🏼
