I love horror movies but this is one that I've stayed away from despite hearing good things about it. Body horror is one of the only subgenres that still gets me and while I do appreciate it for that and the effort that goes into making them, I stumbled upon the "lady in the barn" clip on YT a couple years ago and have been traumatized ever since

How did I miss so much of this?! Tom’s comedy is gold!!! What was I doing while watching this? It’s okay; I was entertained then, and I love it so much more now. I saw this first in the past two days, and I’ve had major doctors’ appts for the past three days. So you got me thru some shitty experiences. (I like the docs, but I’ve been sick since I was 10.)

And my parents almost broke up (divorced) again, which was blamed on me by my mom when I pissed the bed and the couch bc my dad didn’t cover the couch (I had to take medicine. Idk what the condition was). My mom screamed and figured with my dad for a while and then came out and told me they were getting a divorce and it was my fault. At 4 years old. 21 years later I am severely traumatized and triggered by them (her) talking about their marriage. My partial hospitalization therapy kicked me out for a 99.5 fever the day before. You’ve definitely helped me stay “safe.” You’ve helped me stay grounded and not attempt the s-word again since I started watching you again. I’m a binge watcher, so I switch 1-2 favorites at a time and watch everything I’ve missed or never saw at once. Thank you. And thank your wife. Y’all have really helped me

Imagine if there was a sequel where Starla is pregnant with Alien worm-possessed Grant's baby (Kinda like Jeff Goldblum's character impregnating his female loven interest) and like when relatives of the townspeople (all who live outside of the town) haven't heard from all the dead townspeople, they immediately start to haggle the police force in the surrounding counties or towns and like Starla and her now cop boyfriend have to explain what the hell happened but they get charged with mass murder, only for the two of them to be on the run for the entire sequel until Starla gives birth to Alien Grant's baby and a third movie is made where it's an all out invasion of the whole US or world with the alien baby infesting and killing off humanity or just all living beings in general until it becomes something akin to Resident Evil (but with the alien worms instead of a zombie virus).
