I replaced the diaphragm and solenoid but water keeps coming out. Help please??
@AmreSupply4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. It's worth checking to see if the diaphragm is seated correctly and that it makes a good seal around the valve seat. Also check for any buildup of calcium or minerals which might also prevent the diaphragm from making a good seal. Clean the valve if necessary.

I’m having problems when I install the flushometer and first open the water valve the water constantly runs
@AmreSupply3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brian, thank you for watching. Its possible that the solenoid is stuck closed which would be the equivalent to holding the handle down constantly. In this case the upper chamber won't refill with water and the valve will never reset to the closed position.

@@AmreSupply We are having the same problem. Unit was flushing so we replaced the solenoid. When we turned the water back on, it just keeps running. What would the next step be? Your videos are very well done and super helpful!
@AmreSupply2 жыл бұрын
@@klmcontrols8982 Thanks we're just happy to help! It would be best to check how well the diaphragm seals on the valve. Look for any corrosion or calcium buildup that might prevent the diaphragm from sealing. Clean if necessary.

can the solenoid be tested with a multimeter ?
@AmreSupply5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. As long as you can get the multimeter probes on both wires of the solenoid you can test it. Since the solenoid is just a charged coil, you can set the multimeter to ohms and test it for continuity. If there is no continuity, then that means an electrical current won't be able to pass through and charge the coil. Now just because the solenoid has continuity it doesn't always mean that it will charge up enough to function correctly. This can be harder to test though. Hopefully this has helped you out. If you want to support the channel consider liking the video, sharing it or even subscribing as every little bit helps!

Unscrewed the solenoid and accidentally pressed the button... it 'clicked' in and now its staying in. What does that mean?

I'm having a leak problem that I believe is coming from the solenoid. Advice anyone?
@AmreSupply4 жыл бұрын
Hi Corey, thank you for watching. There is a small rubber gasket on the solenoid, if that deteriorates then the solenoid might leak water. Check to see if there is any black residue coming off of the gasket. If it looks like it is deteriorated, replace the gasket or install a new solenoid.
