These videos are super legit! Just got into HVAC/maintenance and replacing these parts is a huge part of my job. So happy to have run across these videos.

You're welcome, we're just happy to share some good information! If you're curious we have a "how it works" playlist which can be good for general knowledge: kzbin.info/aero/PLCo9SMjkdWBxWwrWCmzvRMSi2kLo9bGdp Then on our channel we have many more troubleshooting and repairs under each category. We have furnace and water heater videos, and we're currently working on more appliance repair videos with a series on refrigerators releasing soon.

Thanks for watching. AMRE Supply is based in Canada so we are only creating videos in English but we do upload captions which can be auto translated in the KZbin player by selecting that option. Gracias por ver. AMRE Supply tiene su sede en Canadá, por lo que solo creamos videos en inglés, pero subimos subtítulos que se pueden traducir automáticamente en el reproductor de KZbin al seleccionar esa opción.

I have 5 toilets that i just changed to the sloan optima. All of them flush and never stop. Sensor, solenoid, diaphragm, and vacuum breaker is brand new. I even tried to replace an already new diaphragm. Im stumped. Any ideas?
@AmreSupply5 жыл бұрын
Hi thank you for watching. If all of the valves are flush and never stop then it could be a water pressure issue. If the water pressure to each valve isn't high enough, then the upper chamber will never fill with enough water to reset the valve. Have you tried adjusting the control stop to different amounts to see if that changes the operation? If you've found this helpful and want to help support the production of more videos like this, you can like, share or even subscribe to our channel. Every little bit helps!

@@AmreSupply you know......... i came back to the toilets 6 hours later and tried again and none of the toilets had any issues. Sp extremely confused but your videos are great. I really like the animations you added to show the operations

@@ieatduhrice9384 The flushometers may have just needed to go through several flush cycles. Its good that they are working now. We're glad you find the animations helpful. Cheers!

What if starts leaking after tightening from locking ring area .what's the cause ?
@AmreSupply3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Best to check the threads for any corrosion that might prevent it from making a good seal. If it's a calcium buildup from the water then it can be cleaned with a light acid such as vinegar. Also inspect for any damage to the threads .

I can't get new diaphragm to push back in
@AmreSupply4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cory thank you for watching. If its difficult to push back in you could try using some vaseline or petroleum jelly to help it push in smoothly while twisting.
@felipealvarez51486 жыл бұрын
what if it leaks from between the locking but and sensor? I tighten good but leaks after a couple flushes.
@AmreSupply6 жыл бұрын
Hi Felipe Alvarez, if you've got a good tight connection when you secure the locking ring then the leak might be coming from the solenoid. The o-ring on the solenoid can wear down over time and might prevent a proper seal. You can see more in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJOQqWasltynfKMm9s

Plastic ring that sits on the diaphragm could also be upside down.

What is the flush vavle part number
@AmreSupplyАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. The part number depends on the flow rate. You can see these listed here: www.amresupply.com/catalog/Diaphragms-PF12?brands=Sloan

Can you tell me why my Sloan when I flushed make a noisy like
@AmreSupply2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Noise can be cause by high water pressure. As water rushes past the valve it will cause it to vibrate. This noise might be noisier as the valve closes. You could try adjusting the control stop, this can sometimes help.

The diaphragm never goes in that easy on these sensors
@AmreSupply3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. You are right that the repair always seems easier on the video then it does in practice. Things don't always remove or fit in as nicely in practice. Add rust or corrosion into the mix and there's a lot of factors that can make it more difficult.
