I am a Canadian who lived in L.A. in the 90's working in the film industry. At that time, Sloan played at a club there and when, during this song, they sang " I know that I'll be living it in Canada" the whole crowd screamed. I never knew how many Canadians were in L.A. Great song.

The odd thing is that this band has been around for a long time and doesn't get the recognition it deserves. going on 30 years with the original members, some of them taking part time jobs to get by. to get by.

Action Pact is when the decline began. This song in particular rubs me the wrong way. It's totally a color-by-numbers Sloan song that sounds completely mailed in. And the line about "I know that I'll be living it in Canada" is a cringeworthy attempt to create a cheap sing-along moment for concerts.
