The fact that they filmed it and there wasn't any fights or people spewing their guts up needing taken to hospital like they do nowadays proves it was a hell of a lot safer for people to be off their face on Es than alcohol.

i was at this rave it was the turning point of my life i never went to another rave again .maybe it was because i had such a great time doin the rave scene and this was the cherry on the cake .some of my frends went on and kept going for a few more years some came out of it and married and look back with a smile some dident come back at all and fell into drugs and fogot the music some frends are dead just because they dident know how to get of the roundabout
@667neighborofdabeast12 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. Just watching this (I was born in 93) there is a much more communal atmosphere of raves than there is in clubs now. Now its just a big pile of show off nonsense and everyones too afraid of messing up their hair and makeup to actually dance properly. Not that the music is any good anymore anyway. Would love to party hardcore like this.

@Irie3260 Praga Khan - Injected With A Poison (Original Mix), both vocal samples "Injected with a poison" & "We don't need that anymore" are from this song, made in Belgium.

hi mate, thanks for this. just to check, its the tune the promo-bots are performing to. The only vocal sample being 'hallelujah!' thanks for your time mate ;P

REMINISCE: Part 2; The tunes had you dancing, you could not keep still, Buzzing and rushing, from one little pill, But morning soon came and off we would drift, Go home to chill, with our tunes and a spliff, Those nights were the best, you have to agree, And remembered for always in my memory. Dedicated to all the OLDSKOOL ravers out there, you know the score!

Yes same here. Watched it in 93 weeks before I started work. 93 was the end of an era for me. 88 to 92 was epic. Reality took hold in 93 and not for the good.

Hmm, it's got that classic 'Hoover / Mentasm' sound, but hard to find the actual song since there were so many songs made with that sound around that time..

Surprisingly only a few tracks had that Hoover sound in it.

5:02 says it all. And then they brought in The Criminal Justice & Public Order Act and it's infamous "succession of repetitive beats" section, alongside "gatherings of more than 20 people" section. And this is what put the final nail in the coffin. Bastards.

@Hammersmith80 It happens with most electronic scenes. Take Dubstep for example, it used to have great underground scene and events but has blown up now that both producers and the fans into the mainstream creating a new sound attracting a different audience, wrecking the scene.

Hey Damon, really appreciate your time on this one matey. But I think you may have got it mistaken for 'oserving the earth' by 'dye witness' which also from 1992. This track is very similar indeed that features a similar stabbing lead. Let me know if you can (if this is right, or wrong!?) cheers matey and respect. Mitch ;p

@Hammersmith80 Thats capitalism yeah :) In a way it sucks when your favorite music gets raped by major record companies who dumb it down, but when you get older, u get used to it, it forces you to keep looking for new scenes..
@sammygod212 жыл бұрын
I just don't understand it, this had no violence what so ever, I bet if the cops went to one and started dancing they'd be like why the fuck did I try shutting this down! lol
@NapFloridian12 жыл бұрын
he refered to people dancing, all day and night... fat people tend to hang on sitting on the bar chatting with other people not really dancing...etc. I knew back then some "Fat" people that was in 1990, 3 years or 4 years later their were skinner then myself back then. Its all about the scene, and what the scene makes of you... you just go with the flow and give a shit, enjoy yourself.. and thats it.
