They can't. Apparently their license for Tolkien's world has ended - that's why they cannot put the game on anything like Origin. Also - untill they buy the license again or wait long enough for copyrights to expire, there will be no remastered editions and/or sequels :< I would simply recommend you installing the crack, which how to do so is explained REALLY well here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4GZi4ekm9GDZqs and play via GameRanger online

Arrow towers are great especially if you are the elves and you can stuff archers in there with silver thorn arrows and murder the hell out of things.

Actually! I think building towers is not noobish. It have its uses. If you put 2 units fo silverthorn arrows on this, you can defend very well a terrain, with perharphs one unit of infantry supporting the tower. You just have to keep an eye for catapults. You can use your cav to manuever and strike it before them make much damage on your structures.

Dude I loved playing as the goblins when this game was released. You could basically just continously swarm your opponents with goblins, trolls etc... Not much they could do about it.

I personally don't mind using Goblins in this game. If you fully upgrade the armor and weapons for your units, especially those Half-Trolls, they straight up wreck lives in force. Like a black flood that washes away everything in their path.

You can put solders in formation if you drag your cursor and you can make then in lines I think so but that's how you can put them in formation

Just so you know there are orcs of Moria, there called Orcs of the Misty Mountains. And yes they are primarily Goblins.

A good example when going for the resoucres insteed of the enemy army, is in Age of Empires II, get 4 -5 scouts, and chase down villagers etc in opposit team, its insta win since players give up

The better thing to use against dwarves is, in my opinion, long-ranged units likes archers or crossbowmen or catapults because they're slow.

If only you could summon Galadriel as a hero, with Nenya, one of the three Elven-Rings. That Ring holds Lothlórien together and safe. And Glorfindel, who saved Frodo from the 5 Nazgüls (or Ringwraiths, either one) by showing the light and strength of a VERY strong elf-lord.

Oh and a tactic I use in long late game is to build more fortresses if the game is a even slug, just build more as they generate more funds and well, when somone breaks through to see 10 full fortified fortresses with catapults and arrow towers well all you can do is Muhahahaha.

I'm in the exact same boat as you with being called a 'noob' when building arrow towers. Was in a 8 man FFA which ended up being a 1v1 between me and a guy. I had 20K resources floating because half the map was resource buildings. So I decided to spent my idle resources and my idle builders to fortify around my fort, protecting it from an all in. He got really upset his all-in didn't work and went on a 'noob' rant. I truly don't understand the bfme2 community. They cry about certain things like arrow towers or fire-based units but they are fine with all-in'ing using special abilities right on the enemy fort?
