Hey Christian, My brother keeps asking me to play more bluesy stuff!! I learned a boogie bassline and it turned into a song which I gave him for Christmas. I wrote out the entire thing and framed it for him. I haven't seen him since before covid but I do play for him over the phone. i just want to let you know that you have really helped my confidence. One of the challenges I found in playing this piece is that both left and right hands are often moving from extremes of the keyboard. Astounds me that a blind person (ie Ray Charles) could manage this so fluently.

All week since you posted the Ray Charles style video, I've been trying to use it to come up with a song. And I've been incorporating the lines and licks from your Lonely Heart Slow Blues (at least the first 3 choruses that I can actually play). So this current video is almost like you were watching struggle to do that and are now saying, "ok let me help." I can see you using those same Lonely Heart blues licks! so THANK YOU SO MUCH!
