The main modification that I'd make is not adding additional sauce to the pan after dipping the tortilla. -- The texture of the fried tortilla is great, and you can always dip it as you eat.
In the future, we'll do a non-slow cooker version. (Let me know if you have a favorite. I've only made the Babish version before.)
