Everyone knows that any sports bar worth its jerseys makes great buffalo chicken and sliders. That's why this recipe is sure to satisfy the sports fans in your life -- it's buffalo chicken in slider form, and it's pretty darn delicious. Not to mention that since it's made in a slow cooker, you can set it and forget it. Hello, halftime show!
Sarah's Tip of the Day:
To make this dish, you'll need olive oil; boneless, skinless chicken thighs and breasts; a yellow onion and a red bell pepper; some garlic cloves; a can of crushed tomatoes; a buffalo-style hot-pepper sauce (like Frank's); Worcestershire sauce; yellow mustard; and molasses. If you're making it for dinner, serve it on hamburger buns; otherwise go straight for those cute little slider buns! Watch the video, and I'll show you how (and why) to brown chicken before you add it to the slow cooker, and demonstrate two easy ways to shred the chicken when it's done cooking.
