Leonardo Capuzzi actually John says tone is mostly in the gear. This guy has pretty spot on gear that Mayer has. And that ain’t cheap.

Jacob Fields John rarely ever uses a stock fender deluxe or twin reverb. To some people it may not be cheap but it’s certainly not the most expensive in the world. The thing is John uses $5,000 amps so with this gear it’s pretty good.

Dude, I legit cried too when he started playing the last solo, and I am a 39 grown man. As a huge Mayer fan, this is one of his bests solos ever to me.
