We have already had snow in the UK this year. My interpretation of the painting was perhaps that she is a servant girl and therefore living in a room at the top of the house and longing for the freedom to experience the world outside.

Perhaps the girl in the painting is looking out for the stranger with the white dog that usually walks the street next to her house at this time of day? Perhaps he will be lost in thought, as usual, or perhaps he will be looking fondly at his dog, running happily in front of him? The girl waits, hoping that the stranger will lift his head to look at the pink-purple sky and then he will notice her, and she will give him a shy smile. Perhaps...

I hope you have snow soon! We just had the first snowfall of the season here in Indianapolis. I love going to the art museum as well. I like to look at the landscape pictures. Hello, I was also wondering why Mocchi did not wear a coat and though it was something like that 😊 You do what is the best for your little love. my Dog is often cold and chill. I put her coat and one day someone told me that I was wrong to make her wear a sweater ☹️. Dog's parent know their friend better that anybody else and do what is the best for them. My veterinary says that we are the only one to understand our pets. I like the way Mocchi looks when you were cooking, her eyes saying " what about me? can I have something " Bye bye and thank you for this Saturday' s pleasure.

I liked the image of the frozen leaves (future drawing in sight), nature produces wonderful things. My husband also knows colleagues I appreciate and those I don't without meeting them in person, they are often the subject of fun chats between us. He even asks me about them 😂. It has already snowed here. When it snows I like to go upstairs and look out the window at the snowy gardens and houses in the neighborhood. As the girl in the painting, I have the same type of window. Maybe the girl in the painting had a difficult life like many people at the time and that small window allowed her to escape and dream of a better life.

The painting you’ve shown us made me wonder about what the woman is thinking about while staring at the ceiling or streets. Nothing better than some comforting Cheesy perfection on a cold night followed by a cuddle from your Mochi girl - Perfect evening🌸Oh and my Bonnie (Labradoodle) hates coats as well I had a cute selection and tried but she is the same she won't walk or toilet it ruins her fun on our walk and she sits in protest and won't move so we just walk a bit more briskly as well - So funny how similar they are 🙏

​@@introvert-and-dog My Hungarian Vizsla, Pacífico, was the same as a puppy. We'd have to find him first to put on the coat (he'd hide and, once caught, he'd make himself as heavy and uncooperative as possible). Then we'd have to drag him out as he'd freeze and grip the carpet as much as possible 😂 Now at 4 years old, he still hides because of the harness, despite dying to go run outside, and I know he'll fully regress to puppyhood for the first week we put on his coat. But he gets used to it and acts normal outside (that is, as normal as a Vizsla can act....😅). We live in Edinburgh, so not much of a choice for short-haired dogs: they have to wear a coat! The first snowflakes of the season are falling just as I wake up to your beautiful vlog, looking out the window with my coffee, peaking on Arthur's Seat, our extinct volcano in the middle of town. Thank you for the weekly reminder of simple joys ❤

The painting reminded me of a painting I saw many years ago, and have not been able to find. It is of a young girl dressed only in her short undergarments, with her chin on her hand looking out of a dormer window. She looks like she may be a domestic, and it feels like she is looking out at Paris. It was absolutely mesmerizing. Anyway, have not been able to locate it, and cannot remember the salon that I saw it in. It was many years ago. The girl in the painting could be eagerly waiting for someone to come home. This is what came to my mind because when I was a child, my brother and I always waited for our dad to come home from work so that we could play and joke with him. Cheese and sweet treats are a must for the winter. I have been avoiding sugar for a long time but I had to give in to the cravings today and so I had cookies with coffee.

helloooooossss from Istanbul. I enjoy your videos very much and am a big fan of Ms.Mochi. she is so beautiful. I live with a maltese terrier boy as well and dogs, they exactly know when they get cold and when they wanna go back home (or not going back home yet :)) and also they are really very good at to tell us that. so Im sure that Mochi does that, tell you when she is cold and wanna go back home :) happy weekends to you and Mochi (and also to Mr.J) love from Istanbul

I think it’s absolutely ok for dogs not wearing clothes. We human react to temperature differently and so do animals. You know your Mochi the best.

I like how the girl in the painting is looking at an odd angle to see the view below from the skylight, it's quite unique. It must be nice to be so close to the National Museum from your work, its quite a special place to visit. Our dogs have never liked coats, we have a Border Collie and a Border Terrier, so both breeds are quite used to the cold, my Collie Pip is so active she doesn't get a chance to get cold. Thanks for another video.
