What would be your most recommended budget platform ski to choose when it comes to freeride/jumping? I only ever owned the 550sx and noone else I rode with could flat jump as high as I could with that ski. I want the power of something bigger but dont want to lose the agility jumping/throwing it. If you had to stay under 5k what would you choose?? SquareNose, RoundNose, SXR, 550 Built etc... I want it to become a project for ALL rides, from the river to the ocean breakers! Im less for the buoy dancing as of yet.

With that budget, any type of Superjet. Great platform that you can grow with. If I recall correctly, the SN has the same bottom hull as the under 08 RN, if you can get one with a 701 all the better. I personally l prefer the 08+ SJ, but even though I sold my 2015 760 Lites ski for $5500 (big grumbles for selling it 🤬), you'd probably not find one under $8k these days 🫠

@@ChixLife Thanks alot for the reply! I had forgotten the SN did come 701 for a couple years. Yeah after your input I think im gonna stick tight to a 701 ski, and be patient and willing to drive when I see the right one! I was hoping I could atleast snag a quick 550SX for my lady to learn on but those things are hiding right now!
