For your pizza sock: turn the sock inside out so that the stocking stitch is on the inside, floats side out, needle side up. Orient your knitting so that when you look down inside the sock from the top your needles are at the back., furthest away from you. Just knit your socks like this, inside out. That will help because your floats will be stretched around the outside, not the inside, therefore will be just a bit longer / looser.

All of your work is gorgeous - can't wait to see how the socks turn out! Your Weekender light looks great on you - perfect color and really makes me want to knit one. Also thanks for sharing the Janet Hill book, I'll need to check that it, looks fun.

You could check your gauge between the finished sleeve and the body And see if it’s any different. When we switch to smaller circumference knitting or shorty tips, our gauge tends to tighten up. That could be why the stitches aren’t gliding so nicely on your needles. Some people have to go up a whole needle size on the sleeves vs the body or, in your case, switching needle material might’ve been worth it(?) Just a thought 🤷🏼♀️

I suspected it might be the gauge too, but there doesn't seem to be much difference. Could be a combination, I suppose!

Am loving that weekender light. I've been looking for something boat neck-esque shaped! May I ask what sweater is on the mannequin? Thank you for the video! Loved the kitty visitor.

Thank you! The sweater on the mannequin is my Prismatic Reflection sweater: www.ravelry.com/projects/meeshyfrazz/prismatic-reflection-sweater

I’m amazed at how you design things. Can you tell me what “meeshyfrazz” means? 😃
@meeshyfrazzknits6 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! It's basically two of my nicknames combined (my family calls me meeshy, and work friends have often called me frazz). Not the most creative, but it's been my handle for years now and it just kind of stuck!

@@meeshyfrazzknits Ah okay, thanks! It's a fun name! The only nickname I've ever had is Bean, when I was a kid. Boring. 🙂
