Im from Minnesota and I've heard good things about this lake. Went there on vacation for a week and decided to stop by and as I was walking by on shore, literally saw like a 7 pounder just sitting there. Biggest bass I've seen in my life. But nice video man. Love watching your videos. Seeing that white building in the background makes me miss it a little lol.

Awesome video. I notice you usually rock creature baits for a trailer on the spinner baits. Do you feel those work better than paddle tails? What weight do you like for the spinner baits as well? If you don’t mind me asking.
@frogman8120Күн бұрын
@@jokesick I’m not sure if they work better or not but they do for me. I also like a largo shad as a trailer too. I just figure two appendages moving is better than one. I like rigging it horizontal too. It seems to balance the bait a little better and keeps it from running crooked. Pretty much always a half ounce because it’s a little more versatile. Sometimes lighter is better if you’re strictly fishing very shallow
@jokesickКүн бұрын
@ that actually makes a lot of sense when you put it like that. I’ll have to try that out and see if I can see a difference. That was also super cool how you were catching some of them deeper on the spinner bait. I typically only fish shallow with super light spinners when I do use them. That makes me realize there are other approaches. Love your videos man. They have helped me a lot learning how to kayak fish around Austin. Keep up the great work!
@frogman812012 сағат бұрын
@@jokesickThanks bro. Ya it can be tough gaining confidence fishing a Spinnerbait in 20ft of water but once you have a 5 pounder yank the rod out of your hand, that’s all it takes
