Okay so I watched it without subtitles so I'm writing this before I watch it with subtitles. Here's what I got out of it: you were going from Moscow to Hampton, which is in Virginia but you had to fly into New York. Something something something. Something was good. Something about a cafe. You didn't have internet or a phone because you were in America and didn't have a SIM card. Something something something. You went somewhere. Something about a ticket (I think). Something something something. Something about a door. And then you got to Hampton. So now I'm gonna see how off I was. EDIT: okay so I actually understood a lot more than I thought I did which is really exciting. If I knew the word for "bus" it probably would have made a lot more sense. This was really, really helpful!

Oh goodness, that's so frustrating! I often wish we had more stations or something to signify stops here in NY to make it easier for everyone. Thank you for making this, I find it really helpful. There aren't many opportunities to listen to Russian, let alone at a pace more easily understood. So thank you!

I think these types of videos are really helpful, please make them more often! And maybe you can make some "Slow Russian" videos with slightly more complex words for those whose Russian is a bit better than beginners. Just an idea, though. Thanks for the effort, your channel is one of the best on KZbin for learners of Russian!!

Megabus runs like that. I rode with Megabus from Hampton to NYC many times for like 25-40$ round trip when I lived in Virginia Beach around 2014-2015.

If you're looking for video ideas, I might have one. You could have one of your Russian friends or someone from your family come on, and you could both talk about something in Russian. It could be anything really, your childhood, your life, etc. I think it would be really helpful to listen to a real conversation between two people in russian

I like the slow Russian videos more in this style; makes it easier to start hearing how Russian speakers actually speak minus fillers and corrections and stuff. Still there is definitely value in slow, simple Russian too. Я согласен, что частные автобусы в Нью-Йорке сбивают с толку! У города в большом главным автовокзале, где все должно быть несложные, это столь же просто сбиться с пути. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Most of the Russian language that Fedor was speaking, I did not understand, but that was ok. I need to hear it as much as I can, and eventually I will learn much of the Russian language.

Hope some one can explain for me. At 3:10 he says "Я хожу... и ищу". I don't understand why he uses present tense instead of past tense

I am simply describing the situation as if it was the past. Of course it happened in the past, but I sorta bring you with me to that situation so you can live it as if it's happening to you right now.

In other words, I think of "уехать" as meaning to go out from some place. Maybe the issue is what is the difference between: выехать и уехать

Я учусь в Нью-Йорке и Я живу в Вирджинии, рядом с Hampton and I take the bus so I happen to know exactly what bus stop you're talking about! Unless you know which building to check in to, it's almost impossible to find that bus, even for U.S. natives 😂 Но спасибо!
