I enjoy your perspective on life. I am a 4th grade teacher who welcomed exhausted students into the classroom this Monday. After chatting with them I learned that they are tired because they all play multiple sports, participate in dance competitions, and are generally very busy with structured activities the entire weekend. I wish they could understand how to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I'm off to make a cup of tea and enjoy some quiet time. Thanks for your video. 🙂

Kristina, I think you are a kindred spirit. I too am a very sensitive soul and of late I find myself meditating, which helps my anxiety, and baking. I've been making sourdough bread for 2-1/2 years now and I love giving it away to neighbors and friends and anyone that I think might like it. I am going to make some individual apple pies since I have several granny smith apples and an onion soup that I've made before that is delicious. I don't have an instant pot, but would love the recipes for clotted cream and the lemon curd. This is so beautifully video taped. I've subscribed. Your home is so lovely and cozy. I really like your philosophy as well. Too much stimulation from social media has turned people into addicts. They would benefit from watching your videos. Thank you for doing this.

You mentioned the very reason I have found your channel. A dysregulated nervous system. I would love to hear more about how you keep calm and centered with so much coming at you (especially if you are online) as well as how you rebalance after a couple of days of errands or having to be in town. I have a health condition I am recovering from, that involves the nervous system and it's important for me to stay peaceful and, what I am learning as I "listen", to be at my natural pace. A turtle. I have had many memories come up recently of my life before I married, and I always had time after work to watch an old black and white French film, or one of my 2 days off was spent by a pool at my apartment. Since marrying and children I am realizing I don't do any of that. The very things I needed, I still need. So I was searching for the toping of living at a slower pace then society, and your channel came up. I look forward to hearing more, as you can. Peace be with you.

I love this! As a mom of three, I used to have this idea that my kids needed to do it all... but I saw how stressed and overtired they were. Once we made a timed extracurricular activities once a week... man what a difference. My kids read, color and just rest more. With ADHD, anxiety and being sensitive to overstimulation, this slower lifestyle works better not only for me, but for my kids. 🌿
