Our Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery Field Notes prompt for this two weeks is Spring bloom or Spring blossom. #Roxysjournalofstitchery
I’ve chose the blossom of the China Flat Peach or Peche Plate for this slow stitch or slow stitching piece.
In this video I share a tutorial for how I add simple ribbon embroidery and slow stitch detail to embellish my piece and hand stitch it into a cohesive whole.
In the previous video I shared a tutorial of how you can choose and collage different fabrics for a slow stitch border, and then add embellishment on the form of vintage laces, embroidered pieces, ribbons, collars and beaded pieces:

With many thanks to Sarah @roxycreationsbysarah and Rachel @roxycreations679 who put so much into coming up with and running this great free collaborations. It is an honour to be part of such a lovely community of slow stitchers.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing what slow stitching pieces you are creating for your #roxysjournalofstitchery field notes or other slow stocking projects.
Cheers,
Christine
