Hi Christine, you certainly found some nice bundles of yummy fabric and beads. I can just imagine your stitching on these fabrics and how beautiful I'm sure it's going to be! I think you probably should be set for beads for quite some while, but then again, you're so good at designing and carrying out your ideas, you might go through them faster than we think.😂 I hope you're having a great week! TFS 😊

What a lovely haul. Those patterns are lovely, and I’m interested to see how that velour turns out after you’ve coloured it. I love those bits of lacy collars and daisies. It would be interesting to see how they’d pop up in various projects

Great haul of fabrics ..... I love reds! When you brought out that cute box of different beads, I thought how lovely. Then you produced the large bag of beads! 😲 You're the haberdashery haul queen 👑🤣

Wow Christine talk about drool items. Oh my, sorry I paused you not long in to look up Moda fabric and eekk first thing that popped up was bird fabric talk about one excited kiwi. Turned your video back on and oh my you got some of the fabric! Lucky you how wonderful but must say there are so many pretty designs in the lovely fabrics. Aww good buy on the scissors ✂️go you. Thanks for sharing for your thrifty Thursday. Nope haven’t been thrift shopping but I went on trade me and got some lovely lace very cheaply and bonus wonderful trader shipped um quite a few lots together for me, got butterflies, flowers and very yummy lace was running short so was a great way for me to shop. Have a wonderful weekend and give Travis a pat from me. Happy sewing for the week ahead.

This was originally an older song that used to be sung by the Girl Scouts - and others - of the troop I ran: 1. I had an old coat and the coat got torn, what'll I do (what’ll I do) I had an old coat and the coat got torn, what'll I do (what’ll I do) I had an old coat and the coat got torn. So I cut it down and a jacket was born, and I sing every day of my life. 2. In a couple of years those threads got thin, what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x In a couple of years those threads got thin So I called it a shirt and I tucked it in, and I sing every day of my life. 3. Then the sleeves wore out in the East and West, what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x Then the sleeves wore out in the east and west So I pulled them off and I had a vest, and I sing every day of my life. 4. But the vest got stained with cherry pie, what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x That vest got stained with cherry pie So I cut and I sewed 'til I had a tie, and I sing every day of my life. 5. And when that tie was looking lean, what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x And when that tie was looking lean I made a patch for my old blue jeans, and I sing every day of my life. 6. And when that patch was next to nuttin', what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x When that patch was next to nuttin” I rolled it up into a button, and I sing every day of my life. 7. And when that button was almost gone, what'll I do (what’ll I do) 2x When that button was almost gone With what was left I made this song, which I sing every day of my life. And I think of that song almost every time I watch one of your Thrifty Thursday vids. (You can hear the tune at Children's Music Network, "I Had an Old Coat")
