Slow Stitching Mini Field of Flowers Working Small, Relaxing Textile Art Landscape

Work small, use up the smallest scraps of fabric and create a field of flowers! Stitch along with me as I create a collage, add slow stitching and stitch a meadow of flowers, a landscape stretching into the distance. Loads of texture and colour is created with simple stitches. A mini beauty! So much helpful info for a newbee regarding needles and protecting fingers. My fingers have developed sore spots. I was wondering...is it similar to playing a stringed instrument where calluses need to be formed? Your thought processes and stitching is amazing! Do you have a background in painting and drawing? My mind doesn't go where yours does. Hope to learn how!

Thank you! 😊🧵🪡I’ve taken to using finger protection and use silicone thimbles, stretching wrap tape and anything else that works! So no calluses for me but for others I think that is often the case. I used to split my creative time between painting and stitching. Now stitching is 95% of my creative work. 😊

So pretty! and thank you for showing the variety of stitches; loving how you achieved perspective. Do you ever use metallic embroidery threads? and if so, would the "Thread Magic" help with those types of embroidery floss?
