How to Use Fabric Scraps to Slow Stitch Birds with Color & Texture - Relaxing Textile Art Collage

Use up fabric scraps and stitch a Flock of Birds! After creating a collage, slow stitching is added, tiny birds are cut out from fabric in a complimentary colour and the embellishing continues. Loads of texture and colour is created with simple stitches. I show how to use the Running stitch, Blanket stitch, French Knots and what I call the Wandering Stitch (which is really a seed stitch). Thank you so much. So meditative. I quilt and often add stitches to my blocks. This is a Portable project one could easily take along to appointments or train trips or Camping. Very vertical craft. I believe the Chinese have used this method for centuries for decorative and repair work? Thanks again.💚✌️🙏
