Slow Stitching Mini Swan in Water Working Small, Relaxing Textile Art

Work small, use up the smallest scraps of fabric and create a mini Swan floating in the Water! Stitch along with me as I create the swan using a template and add layers of slow stitching. I discuss choosing floss colours, strategies to add depth and much more. Loads of texture and colour is created with simple stitches. I just love your videos. They are so inspirational. I bought a light jean jacket and thought about adding patches to it. Like this, it would be so cute to add to a cuff. I always love the colors you use, and the depth of the stitches as i am much the same, it can't have too many stitches or too thick a border and thats one of my favorite things i have learned from you is borders, sections of heavy color, sections of different colors. Throwing in a bit of black accentuates and adds so much depth to a piece, or even a white patch if the piece has alot of dark colors. Thankyou for another peaceful beautiful video.

Thank you! That’s a great idea! If the jean jacket is light enough you could sew your stitching in place and add more border directly on the jacket after it’s attached. The cuff might be too thick but maybe just above the cuff on the sleeve😊🧵🪡
