We also regularly have to treat the green build up on our boat covers. The best treatment we have found is to apply (spray if possible) a 1 to 10 weak solution of Milton then give it a gentle scrub before rinsing it off. It is a gentle disinfectant used to sterilise babies bottles but seems made for the this job, both inside and outside of the covers. Hope this helps, Rowena & Martin NB Charnwood

lt was lovely to be greeted wih an Allen purr! The filming on the canal was so peaceful and engrossing, all the wildlife and interesting buildings. Thankyou for doing these videos, l know that life can be tiring and hard sometimes on the canals, but your positive and cheery outlook make it all seem dreamy! 🙂🙂

You're right, the green stuff you're getting on your cratch cover is off the trees. You get the same crrap if you park a vehicle too often under trees.

Here you are ! Good to see you are travelling - our weather has been rainy 🌧and humid, so I feel you on that. Result, corn and tomatoes are little and under-ripe - price has dropped. Incredibly, where I live there is a hot-air balloon 🎈 festival this weekend, so maybe I'll have a look. Fed up with defrosting the bar fridge that serves as my fridge, because of the humidity. Good travels, i keep forgetting that a the music behind and between the blogging is Benny's. And that Emily and Ben is the powerhouse that keeps things flowing. Look forward to your sunny vids - when we / I went to southwest, went by train to Exeter, and double decker to Dorset. Beautiful, pretty and crowded seaside town. Look forward to your next vids.

Thank you for another beautiful adventure. I like balloons also...my mom had a nice 6 passenger hot air balloon and I enjoyed being part of her ground crew. Set up was a blast and then chasing across the countryside was an adventure on its own. The best part was when she ran low on propane she would come down and give neighborhood kids a little HOP. Sometimes it would lift the back of my truck a wee bit. LOL

I`m so envious of your life on the Cut. When Emily looked out of the back hatch before the engine started and all you could hear were the Birds and the foliage blowing in the wind= Bliss. I hope you saw that fantastic sculpture (Gallos) at Tintagel. I`ve only ever seen it in pics so far but love the way it encapsulates the Landscape and has an air of Medieval mysticism about it. 🙂

Also it’s been a while since one of my show peoples went by the ladies. They looked very fetching summer attire… Benny I’m loving the music you picked. I hope you’re getting lots of concerts because you need to spread your beautiful music around… Also, I have been looking at getting into painting since I’ve had a full painting kit. Mullion and Gunwalloe are beautiful. I would highly recommend going further south, so many people stay up north but it is incredible at the very tip round the Lizard area. So remote, it feels like another world. Luckily the locals are generally brilliant at reversing, because it involves huge amounts of backwards driving when you meet lorries, farm vehicles etc on the one-track lanes. Makes narrowboating look a cinch. 😅
