Hi David, thanks great analysis. Yes it's definitely a power plugin some of it is very hard to figure out the documentation is sparse. I to couldn't figure out the featured image issue thanks for clarifying that. Great video thanks again regards from Ireland.

Yes, it should be fairly straight forward as long as you don't try to put too much info on the card.

Amazing tutorial. I was looking if this plugin accomplish what I need and according to what you showed, It does. One question is it possible to create a facet that instead of selecting is able to exclude from the list. Let say based on your example, I would like to see all books, but not the one from Jhon Grisham. Is that possible to do it with the plugin?. In the Content Query part of the grid definition you can exclude by adding individual items (one or multiple), exclude by taxonomy term, and use not equals or not like operators on custom fields. I didn't try those in the video, but you can see the screen around 15:21.

I bought this plugin in march 2021 I'm not a coder and it is very easy to use, I believe this plugin has everything you wish for, what is a challenge for me is the coding part, I've been searching for something that tells me how to display products at the top of the grid by specific manufacturers instead of alphabetized, and I'm not sure how to make this happen.

Maybe try a sort facet? You can pick a field / custom field for the sort facet.

Not much info here, but you would use the Facet area and probably a custom field for price, assuming that is what the range is for.

I think you would need other plugins for custom fields, to create the custom post types, define the single and archive templates, etc. Toolset has that ability and there are tutorials in their documentation section. This is for showing a grid. You can show a custom field and have a custom link.

I just finished with a project with the use of Pods, after trying ACF. Pods gives you two way relationships where ACF is one direction. I also used gridbuilder with oxygen builder and everything integrated well together. Now trying to determine if I need a search plugin or if gridbuilder facets can be used for front-end search.
