Who needs to travel anymore. Slowdive takes me to another planet anyway.

Moody Blues said THINKING IS THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL. BUT WITH SLOWDIVE THINKING AND NOT THINKING ARE THE BEST WAYS TO TRAVEL. THEY ARE SOOO MEDITATIVE. WISH THE BRITISH INVASION OF THE 90s would have been a happening thing in the States. Wow, I just discovered them today. I'm 73, wish I'd discovered them in the 90s. Better late than never.

It s been a long while since I listened to them. Totally missed out their comeback in 2017. Star Roving is just a masterpieve IMHO. But needless to say this is really up to what they used to do in the past, 30 years ago already (OMG I am starting being old now :-) ) , when I first listened to Souvlaki back then. Memories Memories.....

What did the members of Slowdive do for 20 yrs (1994-2014). I'm sure they must have moved on and done something else...gotten over their brief "stardom"....does anyone know their intermediate story? Cause they look very sane. Some people are not able to get over such events.... Just curious to know...Please let us know.

I'm so glad they've found success in recent years. Its kind of odd too because back in 2009 when I discovered them, it seemed like very few people knew who they were. And I always wished that more people did and that they got more respect as a legendary band. I'm just glad that it happened after their reunion in 2014. They deserve it.
