Putting it on 1.5 speed makes for perfect work out music. But the OG version is for more like relaxing. Suuuuch a fun album.

dei exercitus at 1.5 speed sounds a lot like Vapor Trail from The Crystal Method's album Vegas (and that's great)

11:09, a third of the way through Dei Exercitus ("God's Army")... Imagine that an immense bank of dark, billowing clouds materializes out of absolutely nowhere, and then opens up to disgorge millions of hundred-eyed Biblical angels that stream across the land in every direction... that is what this sounds like to me.

A few pieces remind me a lot about Klaus Schulze's earlier work, this is wunderbar and "dei exercitus" 09:27 is the exact grim dark sound i was looking for.

I usually don't listen to barber beats, because I find it too soft and slow. But damn I dig this one. Just grabbed the cassette. Silk smooth at its ends yet rock firm at its core. Good music.
