Christin, wishing you health, wellness and overall goodness in 2024! Thanks for sharing your journey as you move from one culture and way of life to another. How things can look or feel similar on the surface, but are really quite different when you "settle in" and let this part of your journey unfold. Such a smart move to embrace this new place you are both figuratively and literally, and shun the constant comparison of the past that can be the thief of joy. (I grieved some aspects when I moved, but wish I had done some of this embracing the new more freely and consciously and sooner than I did.) Heidi in Vancouver BC Canada p.s.
