Excellent song by Wagakki. My favorite of theirs is A Letter with no Name. Just a spectacular song with everything so clean.

The song is written by Machiya. there is a tape version where Yuko is the lead vocalist with Machiya as backing vocals. Machiy is an excellent vocalist, he was a vocalist and front figure in the band "m:a.ture" Here are two songs with Machiya as vocalist. They are such a great duo. Yuko is arguably one of the best vocalist to come out of Japan, but I love to give credit to Machiya for being able to compliment her , as well as writing a lot of the music. He has a solo performance of Tsuioku which is just a chefs kiss 💋 I highly recommend it.

They make it sound so effortless, great artists. The funny thing is before you guys discussed the lyric the main emotion I felt after melancholy was annoyance. Annoyance for I can not share this song with two 'someone', since we are not friend or lover anymore. Longing and tenderness indeed.

Another Machiya & Yuko duet you need to check out is Synchronicity, more upbeat in tempo and also the closest Wagakki Band get to jazz in places.
