Awesome progress so far! I love the idea for the AN fittings in the heads! Also very jealous of your turbo placement. On my monte carlo, the firewall is too close to the downpipe so the only option for me is to mount my turbo on the crossover pipe and cap off the downpipe with a wastegate perch. Awesome work again man! Can't wait for the next update.

It's an lz4 intake. They are interchangeable.

Too much boost on the 3.9 led to a bent rod and broken rod. Too much power for factory parts. So I went to the junkyard and found a 3.5 and it's running good. Still together

@@Slowv8Fiero I am glad you got it back on the road. I have a 2007 G6 Gt standard transmission with the LZ9. My mods are a drop-in K&N filter, a throttle body spacer and the LZ4 intake. There is no aftermarket support for that engine. Did you turbo your 3.5 v6?

@@kastellolo5212 yea the 3.5 is turbo too. I just transferred all the turbo stuff to the 3.5. 3.5 with cam made more peak HP than the 3.9 but it took a couple more lbs of boost to do it

Is the -6 compression fitting on the fuel rail a generic type or one made for SS tubing? I have been looking to do the same thing but am only finding NPT-ended compression fittings.

What ecu are you going to run? I’m doing the same swap on my 2000 s10 but haven’t been able to fire it up yet. It tries to run but it keeps backfiring I’m using a ms2 extra

Using a microsquirt. I havent tried to fire mine yet. If yours is backfiring then it might be your timing is off. Or you have the coils wired incorrectly to your MS or your plug wire order is incorrect. Verify spark 1 wire is for coil 1, spark 2 is for coil 2 and whatever MS says to use for coil 3 is correct at the wiring harness going into the coils. You should have a test tab on your megasquirt where you can test fire your coils and injectors.

@@oddity7375 the MS should autoload the last tune the computer saw when you closed the program on your computer. Thats the default setting if I am not mistaken
