My mom was 93 when she died and had zero wrinkles around her eyes. She was a pin up model in the 1940s. She learned to put Vaseline on at night from the makeup artists. When I was 13 I started using it because it wiped up leftover mascara that didn't come off the night before. I'm 55 now. I have no wrinkles except 2 tiny 11s that are getting botoxed soon. I started slugging I guess then over 40nyears ago. Highly recommend, considering I'm complimented more on my skin than anything else. I started using eye cream at 22, because a saleslady said I'd thank her later in 87. I highly recommend this cheap, drugstore Vaseline because it works. My mom even used it in her last months along with Wet and Wild lipstick, because as she said "You never know who's coming around!" 😊

What a great idea! In my life, I never would have even thought of using beef tallow. I have a few reasons for not wanting to use petroleum jelly, but God bless those who do. I just looked into it, and this is only the very minimum/beginning of what I found: "Vitamins in tallow can help produce collagen. Vitamin E is known for its anti-aging properties. It helps stimulate blood flow to our skin, which increases collagen production, and helps prevent signs of aging. By increasing collagen production, you can keep your skin looking smooth and firm for longer". The multitude of vitamins in it, are what I've been looking for in a natural product. And it doesn't clog pores!☺️ I'm going to look into it more deeply, as well as the Egyptian Magic Balm, (I've never heard of it), as I have several troubling skin issues. Anyways, a BIG THANK YOU!☺️🌻 God bless💛

Marilyn Monroe used it as well. She had fine tiny baby hairs over her entire face and with her very fair skin (she liked to look "blonde all over")! Upon awakening in the morning, I typically apply Vaseline to my face, allowing it to remain on my skin for approximately 30 minutes. Afterwards, I proceed to shower and use warm water to rinse it off. As a result, my skin becomes noticeably softer and more refined. When I subsequently apply foundation, it effortlessly glides on, enabling my makeup to maintain its beauty throughout the entire day.

I suppose everyone can be different but in my case I found out that if I try to mattify my skin or don't use moisturizers I'll get even more oily and can break out. finding the right products took a very long time but once I did, my skin healed so much! and now that I'm 40, I can feel how much I benefit from sealing in the serums and moisturizers as long as possilble. so I too love this method!

My mom put petroleum (baby oil) on her skin every day. She never got wrinkles. But she had every disease you can imagine, including macular degeneration. Why on Earth would you put a waste product of the oil drilling industry on your precious skin? Try coconut oil or tallow. Stay healthy and beautiful! I wish you all the best!

I like to use soft brown sugar in a good cream cleanser as a facial exfoliator, then a hyaluronic gel, then seal it with a tiny bit of warmed up vaseline before bed. I was lucky to be blessed with Spanish cream coloured skin and this routine stimulates the blood and preserves the colour.

My blepharoplasty surgeon made me promise to keep ALL creams well away from directly under my eyes where he'd removed eye bags; that is not an area where you want any "plumping up" and consequent deflation leaving saggy skin. Everywhere else though I should imagine this trapping in of moisture etc by Vaseline works brilliantly.

Young or older ppl shouldn't just rely on their age you know what matters the most and what more important but in my opinion not the idea nor terms of aging at all at a certain age. It's what and how you feel about yourself inside as well as on the outside. That counts the most. Feel as beautiful as the way you just simply are.

I have the driest, most annoying skin ever, and I've been taking better care of it over the last 10 years or so (I'm 40), and took good care of it off and on thru out my teens and 20's. I never smoked, didn't drink, I burn easily so kept the sun exposure to a minimum. Most people think I'm between 25 and 30, so I already have pretty youthful looking skin. My eye and undereye areas tho are looking ROUGH. If I start slugging now, is it going to help or is it more of a preventive thing that I needed to be doing all along?
