I just heard this the first time this morning on Sirius Studio 54 and it made my head snap up. I was a mobile DJ for about 20+ years. This would definitely have been played each funk or disco set. Love this!

This isn't just a so called 'remix', it is almost a total desecration! The jerks at Epic records took selected Sly & The Family Stone tracks, then had studio musicians come in and graft 'new' music onto these classic tracks in order to make them sound like the disco crap that dominated the late 1970's. The album was a flop.
