I would have booked Cody vs Roman, and had The Rock show up and fight off The Bloodline. Roman loses and is pissed. He calls Rock a traitor to the family. Rock calls Roman a disappointment to the tribe and is unfit to be anyone's chief. Thus leading to Roman vs Rock. That way everyone wins.

The Rock has not been “The Rock” since he left after that WrestleMania match with Austin in 2003. He failed as an actor in Hollywood and now he’s back to ruin WWE. People keep blaming Triple H but I think the biggest amount of the blame goes on Rocky here. His ego is why he joined the board of TKO. His ego is why his daughter was then immediately named GM of NXT. His ego is why he outright stole Cody’s hard earned WrestleMania main event. I think WWE screwed up not having Cody beat Roman at WrestleMania 39. But maybe they wanted to give Roman a long title reign which is fine because Roman has worked hard and earned it. But Cody deserves his spot as the new face of WWE at WM 40. He won the Royal Rumble which means he should’ve been able to challenge any champion and it’s clear he wanted Roman. Rock obviously politicked his way into the main event over Cody. It’s total BS. WWE effectively killed any credibility with Cody and made him look like a passive idiot who willingly gave up his earned spot to Rock. I don’t see any swerve they could do to fix this shit. And if they proceed with this plan of Rock vs Roman, it’ll blow up in their faces. Rock will get hurt yet again and that match will suck due to both men being part timers. It’s enough to have me quit watching WWE for good. This is WCW 2000 level dumb.

I came back again for a very short time when they were building Seth up, but they fucked up badly. In my own fantasy booking I thought if they switch the match back to Cody vs Roman and then before the end of the match the rock sneaks into the ring , knocks out the ref, rock bottoms Cody , then lets Roman win. Then they can have a triple threat match at summerslam and the rock turns heel. Not letting Roman win for the bloodline but because he wants to beat Roman himself. *sigh* It took me a day. But here's what's going to happen (my BEST prediction). Cody will show up next week on SmackDown. He would challenge Roman reigns at Elimination Chamber. (Fast-forward) #1 contenders match at Elimination Chamber. Winner will be Drew or Randy. Most likely Drew. Drew will face Seth. Cody will defeat Roman at EC with help from the Rock. *To stop Solo etc.* (Cody will get his moment and Will help build up to Roman v Rock). Cody will come out on the next SmackDown and celebrate. Randy will come out to celebrate with him. then he'll get RKOed. LONG Story short... Seth v Drew, Cody v Randy, and Roman v Rock. With Cody retaining his title at Wrestlemania. Cody finishes his story etc. Everybody wins, everybody gets their moments etc. It's not bad booking via the circumstances. (Especially with Punk) I see a huge payoff. And this is why Cody's okay with The Rock taking the spot. Cody still going to get his moment with 60,000 plus at EC And he gets to face Randy at WrestleMania. Cody fans can still be happy. Cuz I'm happy for Roman v Rock. Also Drew fans can get excited because I believe Drew is going to beat Seth at WrestleMania. So he can have his moment at Wrestlemania (But as a heel) I see this as an absolute win!

The funny thing about all of this is you could have Roman vs Rock and Seth vs Cody without the belt. let me explain had they drop the belt to Cody on the last WrestleMania you could still had every single major storyline that involved Roman without Undisputed title on his waist. Logan Paul, John Cena, La Knight, the Bloodline civil war all of it didn't need Roman as champion. While Cody feuds with Brock Lesner, Shinsuke Nakamura, Seth Rollins and Brief encounter with CM Punk would have been more significant if he was the reigning champion.
