They never should've booked The Fiend for a title shot this early in the first place. When I first heard it announced, I was like "Oh no. No! Unless you intend to actually have him win the title, don't bother!". Because anything other than that is trepidaciius. Why didn't they have him retire The Undertaker instead. You know, a passing of the torch he never received as leader of The Wyatt Family Cult. This would've been a perfect built to an eventual title run and a feud with Finn Balor's Demon persona. Jeez, even I could book WWE better than the dozens upon dozens of hack writers under Vince's employ.

Even if they'd done the reverse, Fiend destroys Seth to the point he gets Dqd, it still would have sucked, but it wouldn't have killed both guys like this shit did.

Hell in a Cell USED to be protected. I think having an entire ppv named after this awesome gimmick is stupid. A match of this magnitude is supposed to end blood feuds, not to start feuds. Wyatt and Rollins isn't over yet sadly... That ending was the worst I've ever seen. We've seen wrestlers go off the cell, through the cell, use sledgehammers, use barbwire 2x4s with fire, etc. Whoever produced that match needs immediate termination from WWE and Vince needs to step down as the chairmen for approving such an atrocious ending. I didn't like the entire match to begin with. Putting The Fiend inside the Cell was a mistake. If they wanted a DQ fuck finish, should have just been a normal match. The cell itself was a compete waste for that match... The first two matches at the beginning of the ppv were the only ones I enjoyed the whole fucking night. I should have stopped right there lol.

It doesn’t surprise me that they screwed this up. It blows my mind that they did it in literally the worst possible way they could have. They built the stomp to be such a powerful finisher. They could’ve had a singles match end in a dq or no contest. They could have just said Bray was unable to continue and Bray could’ve gotten up afterwards and attacked Seth. But they killed Seth and his credibility. His finisher now looks so weak. They called for a DQ in a hell in a cell match. That ruins WWE’s credibility. Bray still looks like a monster, but now they have to figure out where to go with him. It was way too much. Bray looks unbeatable. I DO believe he can recover, but I don’t think HIAC or Seth can recover from this. Not for a long time. Seth as a face is horrendous. He’s just awful. Tomorrow I’m already dreading the abysmal promo he’s going to cut. WWE had the opportunity to take a step forward. But no they completely butchered it. The fans stayed for 10-20 minutes still booing and chanting. I would rather Bray have just straight up lost than for them to do that. Because they have to protect the business in some way. They have to protect finishers somehow or at least protect wrestlers.

I won't lie I hated Super Showdown this year after seeing The Undertaker vs Goldberg which I thought was embarrassing. It was a match that arrived too late because neither superstars were no longer in their prime. Now after seeing the results of Hell in a Cell I will say go down as the worst PPV of 2019. Ever since the 2016 Draft the company has gone downwind. When Kevin Owens won the universal title, it was the worst heel title run I have seen, Bringing Goldberg back as a one shot winner, Brock's Universal title runs, Shitty rivalries that go too long (Charlotte vs Becky), The Shield reuniting three times, Having Brock win the MITB when he wasn't in the stupid match to begin with. They finally give Kofi the spotlight after Mustafa was hurt and have become WWE Champion only to lose the title to Brock in 5 seconds on the 1st edition of Friday Night Smackdown. WWE has really gone too far at this point to where there no coming back from this. They even bring the Cruiserweights but put them on a show that no one watches anymore, as well making the 24/7 title look like a joke. Vince do us all a favor go FLIPPING RETIRE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember watching this live and it was the ppv that i came back for in 2019 because I haven’t watch it since after wrestle mania of that year and i was like what the hell was the ending. I get that the fiend is supposed to be a like superhuman monster in kayfabe but damn when mankind was thrown off that cell they didn’t stop the match when he was thrown off the cell and choke slammed through the roof and i was confused because that didn’t look like that it didn’t hit him because the sledgehammer hits the stuff that was on his face. And that damn lighting hurt my eyes.

1. Yo......the first thing I wanna say is that fans on the internet need to chill with the "Jump to AEW.....its better" or "Jump ship". Man......let anyone watch any wrestling product they want. It's not a war anymore - just let people enjoy wrestling. 2. Geekdom.......YOU HIT IT ON THE NOSE. After watching the end of SmackDown and then hearing your rant, I'm honestly just disappointed in the WWE product as a fan of wrestling. I feel like when they make these decisions, they show that the fans are dumb and they don't care about these characters. We can't invest in something that's just half assed. I barely watch wrestling but stay current. I stopped being so active because of the frustration of going to PPVs (not watching BUT GOING) that lasted like 7-8 hours, I'm falling asleep at times and at the end asking myself why did I do that? WWE has the talent. I'm completely lost as to their decision making.

What *I* thought would happen was that after his sustained brutailty on the Fiend, Seth would think he'd finally stopped him and turn around, breathing a sigh of relief. But when he turns back around to pin Wyatt, the Fiend suddenly raises up, throwing all the weapons off of himself! Seth falls backwards in fear and disbelief, the Fiend slaps on the manible claw, and the RED-HOT FIEND Is the NEW UNIV. CHAMPION!! 😃 But OH, no. 😡😠
